For our children there is a warm invitation to attend the JUNIOR CHURCH or CRÈCHE during the 10.30 service. We have several different age groups and a dedicated team of teachers to help. On one Sunday in the month the children stay in the main service, which is adapted accordingly. Our CHOIR helps to enrich our Sunday worship by leading the singing and occasionally performing an anthem. The carol services before Christmas are a special highlight of the year. New choir members are always welcome. During the week, there are a number of HOUSE GROUPS in different areas which meet for fellowship and to discuss a bible passage or other theme. Other groups and courses are held at different times of the year according to need. Among them is preparation for CONFIRMATION for both teenagers and adults. The adult course is also suitable for newcomers to the Christian faith or those who simply want to find out more. The church office has more information on current courses. Another group which meets regularly is the ST ANDREW'S CIRCLE. This is mainly a social occasion with a talk, slide show or other activity. Where pastoral care is required, the clergy can always be contacted.
Their ministry is aided by the PASTORAL SUPPORT GROUP. This is
a team of people which tries to provide practical support to those in
need. It meets on the first Sunday of the month before the evening service
with prayer for healing to discuss concerns and prepare the service. Finally, as St Andrew's is financially self-supporting, one of our most important annual events is the BAZAAR in November. Preparations are underway all year round and help is always needed to collect and sort items, or lend a hand with making handicrafts as well as cakes for the day itself. Please contact us
